The Ricardo Almeida Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy is a beacon of excellence for its students and the entire martial arts practitioners world wide. RABJJ Academy seeks to strengthen the Hamilton and Mercer NJ communities through the diligent practice of the Gentle Art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

RABJJ began in 1997 when Professor Ricardo Almeida moved from Brazil to New Jersey to be an assistant instructor at the Renzo Gracie Academy.

Professor Almeida currently has the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt and is the highest ranked student under legendary Renzo Gracie.

The RABJJ Academy has graduated more Black belts than any other school in the region, producing multiple Jiu Jitsu World Champions and world class Jiu Jitsu Instructors ( Check our affiliated schools - link).

Professor expertise transcends Gracie Jiu jitsu into Mixed Martial Arts, and helped UFC Light Weight Champion Frankie Edgar on his path from contender to Champion.
